AN UNUSUAL PETTING ZOO

While visiting the Indianapolis Zoo, Becca visited the aquariums and was able to pet the Dog Sharks. They are intersting creatures who love to be touched by people, much like their namesakes. I wouldn't, however, bring one home as a pet. They still are predators and eat meat.

AT THE AQUARIUM

Bizzy took Becca to the Indianapolis Zoo while visiting Leslie at her science conference during Spring Break in March. Becca loves going to the zoo and seeing everything. Her favorite part is the Dolphin show.

WAITING FOR BREAKFAST!

One of Becca's favorite breakfast foods is toasted Blueberry Bagels. Here, Bizzy and Becca are waiting for their order at Einstein's Bagels. There was one around the corner from the hotel. Bizzy and Becca stayed in one of the downtown Indianapolis hotels while Leslie attended her science conference, and the two walked everywhere. According to Biz, she never took the car out of the parking garage the whole week.

One of Becca's favorite activities is swimming. Nowadays, it seems we can't get this girl out of the water once she's in. Here, she's swimming at the hotel pool. Biz and Becca stayed at the Union Station Hotel, the converted railroad station that is now a hotel.

Becca and Bizzy went to Indianapolis to meet Leslie, who was coming for a 4-day Science Conference. Here Bizzy and Becca are waiting for Leslie to get done and are waiting for her. It rained and Becca is looking like the drenched rat that she so loves to be.

Becca got to meet many interesting science people while at the Science Conference. Not only did she meet Casey Anderson from National Geographic (not this guy!), but she also met Bill Nye, the Science Guy (also not this guy!). I don't know who this guy is, he just comes with the exhibit.

Becca had so much fun wandering the vendor's exhibits at the Science Conference, held at the Indianapolis Civic Center. Many of the exhibits were hands on for children of educators who happened to show up.
