AT THE PURDUE MEN'S BASKETBALL GAME!


We decided to take a break from all the hustle and bustle surrounding a school community and head off to a Purdue Men's Basketball game. Bizzy received free tickets and we decided to go check out the "other" university to our south.

Last year, we received tickets to a Notre Dame women's basketball game. The girls were on a run to the National Championship and ended up placing second in the nation.

Although unranked, Purdue's Men have an 8-2 record and show promise of making it to the big dance again this year. With a mid-week game Mackey Arena in West Lafayette was about 85 percent full. We also took this opportunity to acquire some Purdue wear.  Becca loved the Black and Gold beads.

These shots were taken prior to tip-off, during pre-game activities. As we watched the game, however, Bizzy took notes of the student sections and cheer chants. As we left, she noted that she had much to discuss with the Redskin cheer block to see if we can't raise the bar - and the roof - in Weindberg Gym!
